The Luckiest Person

In 2010, i was second grade in 52 senior high school Jakarta. It has been one of the best  senior high school in North Jakarta and Jakarta has been either. My class was 12nd social one. Exactly, it was the best class in social. Social major became odd thing for some of my friends and of course my family. Everyone asked me why I chose social major for  my major. Whereas, I deserve to study in science major. At the time, first i answered that it was my choice and second was that maybe I would be lucky in social major. As a matter of fact, there were many lucky came to me when I was in social major.
I’m still thinking why everyone think that social major has been identic as a “second choice” after science major, and even “wasted class”. It can be identic because our scored don’t deserve as a require to choose science major. Whereas, we more make relation with the people than the things or nature. It depends on the people that everybody has a choice.
There were many lucky came to me when I was in social major. I don’t know that it called lucky or destiny. But I’m sure that lucky will come to us because our effort. The point is effort. Had we been effort as long as we can, the lucky would have been come to us. It happened to me while my English teacher, Mr.Edi 40, chose me as a representative of my region to join exchange students program between Indonesia and Singapore with my friend, Medinta. Medinta’s father request to  my school to chose one of the students to accompany Medinta, his daughter. Before we went to Singapore, we were given a training in TMII Jakarta.
When my teacher chose me to join that program was really surprising me, I didn’t know why my teacher chose me. But I thought that I was chosen because previously my English teacher gave us homework about drama, and I was a good player in drama. Mr. Edi gave me high score. so story of the luckiest person would be begin.
I couldn’t hind my excitement until I prepared to go to TMII where the program be held. I’d met the best students from their region in Indonesia, from Sabang until Merauke. I realized that I was not the best student in my region, once again the lucky who brought me at that place. But one thing which made me confused was that i had to show our region traditional dancing. One thing  which I remembered was that I couldn’t dance. But Medinta teached me how to dance from her region.
The program was held during five days and what I felt is a month, because we had many together activities. I felt so strong relation with all of them. It was unforgettable moment, i got the precious experience from that program. I felt the luckiest person in my region.

Indonesia is a Paradise for Invesment

When the global crisis, which was occurred in the last 2010, hit all over the world, especially for Europe and USA. Mostly country moved their investments to the country which was quite stable in terms of political, social, and financial issues. Indonesia is the one of the country which was quite stable in terms of political, social, and financial issues.
There are many reason why Indonesia can survive from the global crisis. First of all, Indonesia, which is the third-largest population in the world, has many population. Population is the one of important thing to the country which can survive from the global crisis, such as China and India. But, it has to be followed by buying power, because one of the global crisis causes is that there is no buying power significantly  from civilization. Like USA, although it is the most population in the world, there is no buying power significantly from civilization caused many unemployment. Second, Indonesia is strong  for domestic market. So the global crisis doesn’t effect to Indonesia directly.
Indonesia economic, social and political which stable has made many country invest to Indonesia such as South Korea. South Korea, which is now the third-largest foreign investor in this country after Singapore and Japan, has invested in Indonesia soared to US $1 billion, almost three times as much as the year before during the first six months of 2012.
First South Korean company to arrive in Indonesia was Kodeco, which is still the largest group in South Korean, in 1965. A timber business then, it exported wood to South Korea. Kodeco focuses on oil now. There are about 1,500 companies doing business today in Indonesia. Although it is only number three in terms of investment, it might bring less money than the others, but it creates more jobs. This is what Indonesia needs and it is quite important.
Indonesia has to stay keeping stability of economic, political and social condition. In order that it can more investments from the other countries. Indonesia still needs more investment to growth Indonesia’s economic. Even, in the Master Plan for the Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia’s Economic Development (MP3EI) explained that investment is the main focuss on Indonesia’s ecomonic development. If Indonesia stays stable and sustainable, it will be a paradise for investment.
